CLINT BLACK

TO BRING THIRTY YEARS OF HITS TO

THE MILLION DOLLAR COWBOY BAR

THURSDAY, SEPT. 7th

Country icon, Clint Black, one of the truest traditionalists in music over the last three decades will bring his chart-topping catalog of sing-along hits to the stage of The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for his first ever public appearance in Jackson Hole on Thursday, September 7.

A true triple threat singer/guitarist/songwriter, Black has sold more than twenty million records, written and recorded twenty-two #1 singles, and been awarded nearly two-dozen gold and platinum awards, a GRAMMY, and numerous CMA, ACM and American Music Awards. He’s a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His musical style encompasses traditional country, honky-tonk and Western swing. From the beginning, Black’s biggest influences were Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, George Strait and especially Merle Haggard, to whom his smooth baritone voice was initially compared.

One-fourth of country’s storied Class of 1989 (along with Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt) Clint Black's meteoric rise began with his debut album Killin’ Time, which produced five consecutive number one singles on the Billboard Hot Country charts. His break-out success put Black on a fast track to super-stardom. He went on to produce top-selling albums throughout the 90s and 2000s. Eventually, Black’s wide-spread appeal and his own creative curiosity lead him into the world of acting where he earned roles in dozens of TV shows and feature films including Maverick, Anger Management, Wings, Nashville Star, Celebrity Apprentice, and Hope and Faith. The fourth season of his own talk show, Talking in Circles, is currently airing on Circle TV.

In 2020, Black released Out of Sane, his 23rd studio album, which stayed true to his straight-forward, honest, traditional country songwriting style. Now, in 2023, Black maintains momentum with his nationwide Summer’s Comin’ Tour which brings him to Wyoming.

His performance at The Cowboy will be a sit-down-only, band show with reserved tables for sale throughout the venue. The dance floor will serve as VIP seating. Tickets will be available for $100 - $500 per seat, sold by the table, will go on sale Friday, August 18th at 10am (MT) and may be purchased online at www.cowboybarjh.com. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show starting at 8pm. Must be 21+

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, soon to enter its 90th year, is widely regarded as a national treasure and is regularly named one of the top honkytonks in the country. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is dedicated to its value and significance as an iconic live music venue in America, by presenting the most iconic names in country music. #saddleup.
