New Era of Music at The Cowboy Bar

July 20, 2018 New Era of Music at The Cowboy Bar

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar has revamped their music schedule with the hope of turning the bar into a nationally renowned entertainment venue. Below are just some of the steps they are taking to attract a new generation of patrons.

Sunday Country DJ: NO COVER!

Every Sunday at The Cowboy there will be Country DJ’s spinning your favorite tracks from 9pm until 1am. Justin Smith, Talent Buyer for Silver Dollar Inc. said, “We have some very talented DJs in Jackson that have a profound knowledge of country music history and a huge library of country music to share.” This summer, DJ Crazy Tom and DJ Steady Jake are rotating each Sunday at the Cowboy.

Bartenders Josh and Jake take pride and ownership in hosting the event and are fired up to grow this new, weekly tradition. Bartender Josh Roche says, “Having a couple of the best DJs in town has really upped our Sunday game. When the bartenders are singing and dancing along with the music, you know you have something.” As a nod to the seasonal workers, The Cowboy Bar has lifted their normal $5 cover opening the doors for all. That’s right: no cover!

More To Come

The Cowboy Bar has a lot of tricks up their sleeve and are working hard to get Jackson Hole’s music scene on the map. Along with their revamped nightly music schedule, they plan to book nationally recognized groups on a regular quarterly basis. Jo Dee Messina performed on the Cowboy Bar stage in May for the Grand Re-Opening and The Bellamy Brothers are scheduled to perform on August 12. Big things are in the works for The Cowboy Bar, stay tuned.
