Multi-Platinum Artist Sara Evans to Perform Live

October 25, 2021 Multi-Platinum Artist Sara Evans to Perform Live

Top Female Vocalist to Play Rare Club Date at Jackson Hole’s Iconic Honky Tonk

Since bursting onto the music scene twenty-five years ago, Sara Evans remains at the top of her game. The fifth most played female artist on country radio continues to be a force both in the studio and on the road with tour dates crisscrossing the country. On Wednesday, November 17th, the award-winning hit-maker will bring her band to the Cowboy Bar for her Jackson Hole debut.

In addition to a career of gold and platinum releases, Sara has scored at least one #1 in three different decades, a tribute to both her ear for what the country audience want to hear, and the power of her performing talents. Her #1 singles include fan favorites “Suds in the Bucket,” “Born to Fly,” “A Real Fine Place to Start,” “No Place That Far,” and “A Little Bit Stronger.”

Evan’s “stunning, country voice” (Rolling Stone) has earned her the prestigious Academy of Country Music Top Female vocalist accolade as well as numerous American Music AwardsBillboard Music Awards, Country Music Association, CMT and GRAMMY Award nominations. In addition, the CMA awarded Video of the Year honors for her chart-topping single, "Born to Fly" from her landmark double-platinum album of the same name.

In 2020, Evans released her ninth studio album, Copy That, on her own Born to Fly Records label. The collection of cover songs from across genres debuted at #1 on the iTunes County Chart. “I’ve always put cover songs on my records just because I think they are so fun. My fans have been asking for a covers record for years and now just seemed like the right time,” says Evans, who has always been a champion for great songwriting. Some of the surprises include a rowdy version of  The Knack’s “My Sharona, ” a duet with Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet on a buoyant rendition of the Stevie Nicks and Kenny Loggins classic “Whenever I Call You Friend,” and the Hank Williams standard “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” featuring the unique flavor of Old Crow Medicine Show.

Tickets to this sit-down-only show are priced from $85 - $350, will be sold by the table, and may be purchased online at cowboybarjh.com. On-sale date is Friday, October 29th at 10am (MT). Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Must be 21+ to enter.
